Parent/teacher conferences play an integral role in providing feedback regarding your child’s progress as well as formulating individual plans for success.
Conferences are offered February 12 and 13.
One School, One Book
We’re excited to announce that our school is participating in One School, One Book—a special reading experience where our entire school community reads the same book at the same time!
This fun and meaningful program brings students, staff, and families together through a shared story. Throughout the program, students will enjoy activities, discussions, and special moments connected to the book, helping to build a love of reading and a strong sense of school community.
Families are encouraged to read along at home and join in the excitement as the story unfolds.
Let’s turn the page together and celebrate the joy of reading!

Last October, the Westwood Elementary School community was devastated by the loss of a beloved educator, parent, and friend. One year later, the joy that Amy Roeder brought students and colleagues still blooms in Westwood’s Amy Roeder Memorial Garden, where students gather to share her love of reading.

Staff members threw a surprise party for Principal Ryan Hart to celebrate the completion of his doctorate program.
