Wildcats Get Creative!
Take a look at what our Wildcats have been busy creating in art class this October! We’re proud of their creativity, imagination, and growing skills.
- 1st Grade: Crayons and watercolor to make owl pictures
- 2nd Grade: Drew sunflowers using shading and texture
- 3rd Grade: Designed their own mixed-media Halloween cakes
- 4th Grade: Learned about 1-point perspective and made fall landscapes
- 5th Grade: Learned about Batik art and the wax resist process with their own fall drawings

MYSTERY ALERT! Someone has struck Westwood Elementary School! A prankster has covered the school in hilariously silly pictures of our teachers and our principal! Join us at Family Literacy Night to complete the literacy challenges, collect important clues, and crack the case of the Silly Picture Prankster!

Last October, the Westwood Elementary School community was devastated by the loss of a beloved educator, parent, and friend. One year later, the joy that Amy Roeder brought students and colleagues still blooms in Westwood’s Amy Roeder Memorial Garden, where students gather to share her love of reading.
